For those not in the know, I post bi daily updates on my various creative projects on my Twitter (@CallumQuinn777). But if Twitter is not your scene, you can still see my progress here on my Patreon.

Part One: Siblings of Steel

From February 12 to the 15 I formated the panels, which means I drew them in Illustrator, so I could import them into Procreate for the drawing process. Then I spent the rest of the month doing the line art, shading, and lettering. Currently, 7 pages are finished. Inked, shaded, and lettered. Ready to be read. 7 more have been inked and shaded, and 8 are still thumbnails. I was shooting to finish all the art, lettering, and formatting by March 2. But I don’t consider this delay a failure. I chose these dates based on my best guess of how long it would take. I’ll need to finish a few issues before finalizing this process.

I have to say, looking at those 7 pages, all formatted and bound up into a pdf, it’s exhilarating. I’ve finished things before, I did 4 chapters of the Siblings of Steel webcomic after all, but this feels different. I’ve learned so much and refined my process.

Ah, I can’t wait to share this with you guys. And, more good news, I’ve begun submitting to agents and publishers! I’ve even gotten my very first rejection letter!

To sum it up:

I’m so thrilled with my progress on this front. It’s all coming together.

Part Two: The YouTube Channel/ Podcast

Soooo, don’t know if you know, but I took my YouTube series, “Callum Quinn Reviews,” and turned it into a full-blown Podcast with a capital “P!”

There are three episodes of the newest season finished currently, with a few more on the way, and while I find this very rewarding, I’m still figuring out a workflow that works for me. So expect updates to be somewhat sporadic for the time being.

Part Three: Other stuff

I wrote a script for an Amphibia/ Cosmere fan fic that I’m pretty proud of.

It’s short, about 5 pages. The next step is to find references for the characters that will appear, and then I can work on the thumbnails.

But this is still an extra thing I’m doing for fun.

I’m also working on a more ambitious project that I’m not ready to discuss yet, but I’m pretty excited about it.

If you are interested in supporting me, you can do so here on my Patreon, where you’ll get access to early episodes of my podcast.

It’s been a super busy month, and I’m delighted with how it went.
