This month I worked hard on Siblings of Steel and started back at school after a semester off. For those not in the know, I post almost daily updates on my various creative projects on my Twitter (@CallumQuinn777). But if Twitter is not your scene, you can still see my progress here on my Patreon.

Part One: Siblings of Steel

Carrying over a task from December, I worked on the concept art for issue one until January 20th. You can see some of that here. And now I’m working on the thumbnails though out the 12th of February. These are going very well, and I think I should have the first pass wrapped up in a few days. After that is the clean-up stage, which I will work on until the deadline. Then I start on the finished art.

I plan to finish all four issues in the first arc before I release the first one. That way, I can put them out one month after another and treat each arc like a yearly mini-series.

So, in summary, work continues at a steady pace. And I have a good feeling about the direction we’re headed in.

Part Two: The YouTube Channel

So it’s been a hot minute since I released a video. Sorry about that. For those who don’t know, I have ADHD, and that can make it super hard to work on a project because you DON’T HAVE THE CHEMICALS IN YOUR BRAIN. I work best when I have a tried and true routine. To follow, and I’m still building that routine when it comes to YouTube. I have a few videos in the works, but editing is such a behemoth to face that it kills my motivation. Now don’t think I’m giving up. Doing YouTube has been a long-time dream of mine; as I said, I need to find the right routine. Right now, that’s looking like hiring a video editor or having a simpler video format. Either way, I’ll figure it out.

In summary, I’m still getting used to making videos, and it’s not something I’ve been doing as long as writing or drawing. I need to work out the kinks. But I promise you I will get that Transformers: Earthspark review out by the 12th of the month for Patrons.

So those are my two big creative projects, the ones I’ve been devoting most of my free time and energy to perfecting. There are others, comics and novellas, but I think it’s best to keep those on the back seat for now. At least until I’ve gotten more experience. One last note: I will be hosting my blog on Patreon from now on; it’s a platform I’m trying to give more attention to, so it makes sense. I’ve made this post public, but I’ll reserve these for members in the future. If you can, I would greatly appreciate your support, as it lets me dedicate more time to the things I love. You’ll receive access to exclusive posts and be able to watch my videos early. But if that’s not something you can do, don’t worry; you can still follow along with my progress on Twitter.

Thank you so much for all of your support. And thanks for reading!
